Bird pillow finished
It's done. I sure love a finished project. This was starting to sit just a little too long, and I started to see the intials "UFO" hovering over it! hehe. I added cotton batting to the back and machine quilted the insides of each rectangle. And oh, the tiny floral print is flannel. You've heard of "comfort food", right? Well, flannel is "comfort fabric" I think. I thought of doing some hand stitching too, but nay. Maybe next time. The blue denim I picked up at the _______ (fill in the blank, can you guess? Thrift store!) worked out really nicely for this. I almost forgot I had it. The back is plain with two wide, brown ribbons to hold the slip closed. That's it. I'm about 95 percent sure this will go in my etsy shop, just in case I change my mind and keep it :)

I would like to take a little snooze on this pillow. I am about to embark on a pillow adventure myself, so thank you for the front and back photos. (Here in the icy east we crave spring pillows right about now.)

It has turned out lovely . I like my projects to be finished in two days max. I usually start the next thing just before I finish.
