Corners of my home #6
This is my windowsill over the kitchen sink. It looks out onto our patio and deck. In the summer I can watch Noah playing in the sand with his trucks or in his little turtle pool. Mark can be seen barbecuing and the other kids are generally hanging out somewhere too. It's a bit lonely out there now being winter, but the patio will be coming to life again soon...spring is just around the corner. I've added a couple of notes you can read if you click on the photo. More corners here.
How do you like my funny rooster on the shelf? I found him at the thrift and I guess he just "cock-a-doodle-dooed" his way into my heart :)
Coming tomorrow: (time permitting of course!) another needle-book and fabric buttons.
And oh! One more thing, please take a peek at Hannah's cards I put in a photo album in the sidebar. She sends a big Thank You!!

Cute Rooster, I like them also!! Thanks for sharing your corner with us!

Love the rooster. He brings great character to your room.
Hannahs cards are great!
I like your header picture... I'm working on a painting on canvas that looks very similar to that..LOL
After painting the little flowers on my wall, I just had to do them somewhere else.

We love collecting pebbles aswell. We dont stick to hearts though anything special that catches our imagination.Like a sharks fin from Spain and an egg from Ireland!we keep them in a glass jar in the shower room.So tactile and full of fun memories!

Great corner Toni. I love that rooster. And I have to admit that I'd already had a good look at Hannah's cards - aren't they just fantastic!! I would love to be able to draw that well.
And what a gorgeous rock!
(I hope time is permitting, I can't wait to see more needle boos and fabric buttons!)

I love the buttons, so cute! What you seem to have there is a "Galo de Barcelos" (a rooster from Barcelos, which is a region in Portugal, and their most typical folk art is that rooster.)
