Another corner of my home
I'm pretty happy about this particular corner in my kitchen. I found this old, woven cabinet at the thrift some months ago with this exact plan in mind---a tea cupboard. I just got around to putting it up. I could no longer take the pile of boxes that were building up above the stove top.
It sits above our fruit table with my basket of rags dishtowels. I placed my favorite cups above. I'm really liking the colors of the teabags lined up together--inspiration is everywhere. Lookie how spick and span the inside is...I cannot say the same for my other...ahem... cupboards.
This makes me very happy. And so does the bird that is energetically singing away outside my window right now---it's 12:30 a.m. !!
More corners here.

Not that I want to be a copy-cat or anything, but I just HAVE to get me one of those tea cupboards! Except I'll call mine a coffee cupboard...

Lovely - celestial seasonings tea - don't you just love it!
I have a fabulous teapot that would look marvellous perched on the top of that cupboard - I love dinky cupboards - much more interesting than boring ones for tins!

Cute, cute, cute but what caught my eye are the 2 cute little plates. I love plates on walls.

What a great cupboard - I really need one. My teas are all rammed in a huge corner cupboard with loads of other stuff that cascades out when I try to get to the tea I fancy.

Very charming little cupboard. It makes me want tea - which I rarely do. I like the collection of bowls and baskets underneath too. I think I'd be lingering over there...

I love tea nooks. Mine are sadly stashed in a cupboard with dreams of them escaping their confines and being shown proudly like yours are. I make a mean "Feline Moon Brew" with organic herbs if you would ever like to try it. It is a female toner that is delicious warm or cold with a little dash of honey in it. I drink it year around.

Wow - I love it! Now I think I need a whole cupboard just for tea too! (Apparently the Irish drink more tea than anyone else in the world so I can't fight that!) Where did you find chocolate tea? Is it nice? Sounds like a wonderful combination ... like dunking a bar of chocolate into a nice cup of tea :)

Oh, that is such a great idea. Cabinet space is at a premium in our kitchen and I always feel guilty that my teas take up a shelf. I think I'll keep an eye out for something like this to remedy the problem because we do have wall space. Funny, that. By the way, I just came across your blog recently and I am really enjoying it. Take care.

Great job -- so peaceful and all ready for brewing a cup of tea (worth staying up late for).

Your comment last week inspired me to make my own Les Bon Ribbons order and I got it early this week--what wonderful ribbon goodness!

How fantastic is this idea? We have tea all over the kitchen. What a great way to keep it organized!
