BE
Because I just placed a large order at Les' Bon Ribbon , and because I also just ordered 5 new Japanese craft books , I really need to sell something to make up for it! It's true, this collage was not the result of a surge of emotion, or a revelation of inspiration. I just need to make some money. That's the short and simple truth for this one. But, I am very pleased. I won't ever sell any art that I'm not very pleased with. Available in my shop now. More pictures there too.
I'm planning to to take part in WIP (work in progress) this Friday. Doesn't that sound like fun? I love to see what everyone is up to while in process. See ya then with my WIP pics.
(typepad is cutting off the edge of my photo. you can click on it for the full image if that bugs you like it does me!)

There's another blogincidence!Blair had the word BE on her black photo today.Somebody must be telling us something :)
Beautiful work by the way!

This is beautiful Toni! I am afraid this is another time where I am kicking myself for not having the money to buy it. I would give you all the money I could to continue making such lovely things! If these are the kind of WIP's you've got going then I can not wait for friday!

That is so very beautiful, but I'm definitely in the no money to spend boat. Sigh. I just wanted to take the time to tell you that it is gorgeous :)

I'm sure it will sweep right up to hanging loving on someones wall.
I took my yard sale money and bought some fabric and japanese craft books, but I'm almost to embarrassed to say how many...I just couldn't decide so I bought them all.

That is great! I love the colours! this is my first time to your blog - I love it. I wanted to congratulate you on doing the wedding quilt all by yourself. My Mum, sister and I are collectively making one for my cousin and his soon to be wife and we know just how hard it is!
Well done - and don't forget the pictures!

Look at your pretty new banner too! I love this collage, and love your honesty about the state of crafting (hee hee). Must fund our habits, I'm in a similar situation or I'd definitely be shopping at your etsy shop right now!

love the scrabble letters in this collage. and I understand the emotion behind the creation! but no mind, i love your honesty. I just purchased two craft books last week using some of my pendant funds. it's all just a big cycle...make some, buy some. like my own private stash under the mattress!!
