Secrets and the benefits of jet-lag
I have not had even one tiny second to sew since I've returned from my trip. After I recovered from jet-lag--yuuukkkk!--I needed to focus on school and running a home again, which I'm doing with renewed enthusiasm. The one great thing that has come out having jet-lag is that now I can get up early!! Being an early riser has always been so difficult for me. I really need a couple of hours in the morning before everyone is awake to exercise, spend time in prayer, drink my tea and just listen to the quiet. I'm a much happier person this way. So now in the evening when I start yawning, it's so funny to me that the clock only says 7:30 or 8:00!
My little cacti friends above that I made over a year ago have a secret, and because of that all my original sewing plans I had will need to be put on hold. They will be making an exciting appearance sometime in the future, but for now I need to keep the what and when a mystery.....Don't you just love this kind of torture?

no, i'm not a fan of torture. not particularly.
but those cacti sure are cuties, so i guess i'll deal with it. :-)

Secrets, hmm, scenarios are lipping over in my mind. And by the way, I'm so glad you're back.

Cute cacti! But how long will we have to wait? *SIGH* Guess we'll just have to...I like a quiet start too, nothing like a gently easing into a day. Hope you're having a good one. Happy Days! :o)

OMG those cactus are really really cute. Really cute. That bow/flower! So creative!
Hope the good effects of jet lag last and that bad go away. It does take a while, doesn't it?

I've never been much of a morning person myself, but I've always wanted to be able to get up earlier and get my day started before the sun comes up. It would probably take jet-lag for me to be a morning person too though instead of my own personal motivation. Enjoy it immensely:)

From my experience, you are the best kind of morning person. Ready to say hello and chat over tea, but not ready to jump up and at the day.
I have a huge to-do list too. Why do we do that to ourselves? As you, I refuse to stress, just taking it step by step. Thank goodness for those husbands to help us out.
Now you've gotten my curiosity peaked. What in the world are you up to?
xo
