more trailer love
here's another, and i like this one even more.
to answer those who asked why trailers? just because i thought it would be so funny and random (i have a different sense of humor sometimes) and i've always thought they were so cute and 'nest like'...like a portabel nest on wheels. but mostly because of the random humor.
i spent some time with my sketchbook last night and i love what my research turned up! i feel giddy just thinking about them! vintage trailers make me so *happy*.
this one is for sale in my etsy shop now.

i love the flowers in the window
in this one...too cute.

You're so clever -- I agree this one is super cute. That little bucket of flowers makes me want to learn how to embroider -- I don't even think I know how to spell it... One of my favorite songs -- I've Found Me a Trailer that Matches My Truck... :-)

VERY CUTE :) They would be wonderful in an RV, or just as cute at home on the sofa :)

These are too funny and the pom pom frings is totally kitsch! I am dying for the pom pom trim. I think everything is nicer with pom pom trim. Can you tell I am a child of the 70's? - Pom Pom fringe and dotted swiss fabric make me swoon!

I absolutely LOVE the trailers! I think they would make excellent kitchen towels as well!

Loving the bobbly trim, and flowers in the window. It reminds me of the gypsy fortune telling caravans when the fair comes to town.

There is definitely nothing wrong with trailers. If you're ever near Bisbee, AZ, you should check this out: http://www.theshadydell.com/dots.html. We were able to squeeze into the diner for breakfast, but the Shady Dell was full up :(
Some sites come complete with their own pink flamingos.

These look so much like the Cowgirl Caravan (Sisters on the Fly) trailers. Any connection? You should sell them to these women for sure!!! I have their contact info. if you want it. Either way, they are absolutely wonderful. Love them.
