suddenly...
...i've taken to embroidering trailers and turning them in to small pillows. i'm working on a whole trailer park you could say. don't ask why, i already told you i was weird.
also, here is the japanese craft book i made my slippers from and a photo of the style i chose. ISBN 4943309430771. there are patterns in the back that you enlarge with a copy machine. lets just say i enlarged mine much more then they suggested..ahem..i do not have petite japanese feet. the book has several cute slipper styles, some from leather even. you can click on the photos to get a better look.

Trailers? on pillows with pom-pom fringe? I'm laughing hysterically about this and then wondering why you have so many great ideas. Wouldn't these be a great gift for a child (okay maybe lose the fringe) who loves transportation? Please show us all the little trailers together.

That tailer pillow is adorable! Makes me think of that crazy Lucille Ball film from the 1950's was it, "The Long, Long Trailer." Too cute, Toni! Happy Days! :o)

Totally cute little pillow. Love the teardrop trailer. Where's the little car pillow pulling it? LOL

You are too funny.
You have to do a classic Airstream in silver metallic.......totally retro.
And as long as you are on a vehicular kick.....how about a VW doodle bug? Those cars just make me smile.....

While I was waiting for the pic to load, I read that you had "taken to embroidering trailers". In my vast lack of embroidering knowledge, I assumed it was some sort of fabric or remnant or something embroidery related.
Imagine my surprise and delight when I realized you meant trailers, real trailers!
Great post. And I might vote you as weird too. LOL.
Rebecca.

So, so sweet! (de-lurking a bit late because I'm terrible at keeping up with the blogs I like and end up reading a month's worth of posts in one go...)

the pillow is adorable! It would be a great way to outfit an RV or trailer itself... (my mom has one that looks a lot like this that I love).
very fun.
oh and thanks for sharing the slipper book :)

Your trailer pillow is so cute! I love those little trailers and now that they've come back into vogue, it's so interesting to see creative interpretations of the trailers in other ways.

I, too, at first thought a trailer was some embroidery lingo I didn't get. The pillow is adorable.
PS: I love your new banner.

Trailers - who woulda thunk it?
How about a zoo trailer with a giraffe head sticking out?
I'm a seriously late delurker due to techie problems, but coming out now to say I love your blog, inspired by the slippers, beautiful tulips, great fringe, and best of all - your new year's list. So personal and practical and admirable. I'll keep reading!
