My new shoes now stand on Washington soil.

I have been once again pondering the perfect beauty of my favorite tree in my parent's yard.

Playing lots of croquet.

Doing a little fabric shopping, lots of relaxing, and taking in the many peaceful images around my parent's home.

I love your photos also! I am guessing you did something special with them to get the colors so muted - do you share your secrets? Would love to know how to do this! (I do have photoshop elements, just can't figure out how to use it very well!)

Hi Diane~
Thank you for your compliments! No, I don't do anything special to my photos. Sometimes I may lighten them up just a bit because I tend to take them to dark. I'm just really trying to learn to use my camera on the manual setting through trial and error. I also have a very talented son who is a photographer and it's always nice to get tips from him when I need help.

Beautiful photos. (I see where your son gets his gift!) I especially like the one of the chair. So tranquil and simple.
