on my mind
:: Color. I think I need to make some time to play with the random stripe generator .
:: Crafts with Noah. I picked up some great books from the library that are very inspiring.
:: Needlework. Embroidery and crewel. I'm totally giddy waiting for my Crewel Treasure Box from the Twinning Thread. Have you guys heard about this sale? Go now!
:: A new Fall handbag. hmm....
:: Napkins. I was very inspired to make a pile of pretty napkins after reading about Amy's in her new Book.
:: Crocheted hats and scarves. Yarn just sounds so yummy right now.
:: New stuffies. I would love to make more little creatures.
:: Tea Cozies. Always appealing in my book. I think about them often, have only made one. Need to change that.
:: Martha Stewart Kids magazine. I want to get out all my copies and hide on the couch under a blanket and look at each one.
:: Walks on the beach. Starting today, I'm going to try and schedule these in regularly before the weather gets to chilly and windy. We'll be there at 5:00 pm, wanna come?
I always want to make lists at the start of a new season. How about you, what are you guys thinking of?
(edited to add: we took that beach walk~pictures here! )

Let me see, have been thinking alot about spending more time with my son outside. Because up here in the winter sometimes the storms can last for a couple days. Also thinking about the activies we can do with him this winter, he is only 18 months so sliding comes to my mind!! Plus I love it so. He is lucky his momma is a big kid herself.......LOL :)
I am thinking about Christmas gifts I am going to make. I stopped for a few months, it was hard to think of Christmas when all I wanted to do was go to the beach and swim.Although I did make a few scarves before the weather got all summery. I am making my son a plastic canvas stocking for Christmas that is almost done!! YUPEEEE. Now I am thinking of doing one for me and my Hubby.(not before Christmas!!)
I am thinking of Apple picking, making apple pies and applesauce (for the frist time!!), Thanksgiving (which for us Canucks is October 8th) Halloween and all the decorations I have got!! I want to crazy decorate for Hayden (my son!!)
I am wishing fall would last for a while. So we could enjoy it more, going hiking at the local park. Showing my son all the trees, and raking the leaves so we can jump in them.
Some of the scarpbooking I want to do, I want to create summer fun pages for Hayden. Plus the fall ones too. LOL What am I doing here still writing.........I got lots of work to do....hahahaha!!
Oh and all the fun fall stuff, cleaning the all the curtains and window.........YUPPPEEE I can't wait!!! LOL
~~These are just a few things on my mind. Have a great evening..........

I am thinking about a bunch of quilts (but that really isn't seasonal for me), more softies, a few purses, goodies to send to blogger friends. Also thinking about new and creative ways to use what I have...reusing clothing or other materials to make something fun and new.
loved reading your list!

That's quite a list. I have lists of everything on the planet on just about every piece of paper on the planet--guess I ought to go through the stack and make just one that's actually doable.

what a great list! i'm afraid that if i make a list i'll feel boxed in. but the list comes in handy to save those ideas that pop into your brain (and sometimes out again). what i want to know is how you have time to have those relaxing list making moments with cut banana and pretty china, and also the time to capture it on film!? keep it comin'... love em

Your list sounds great. It does seem like the right time of year to start new projects, finish old ones and get inspired with new ideas! I am working on a table runner, I need to do the machine quilting, I've been trying some punchneedle embroidery and I am a little frustrated with it, and I would like to begin some stuffies, a tote bag and another small quilt.

I'm thinking about crafting, sewing & cooking. I need to do something with my hands when I'm not studying...
And I have a thing for tea cozies as well, but I haven't done a single one (unfortunately).

Hi! I've been thinking that I would love to finally type up all the family recipes, photograph each prepared item, and make a book for myself and my sisters. Maybe I will get through a few before the year is over!
*I came across your blog recently, and I think it is lovely and inspiring. I am a new blogger, and I am finding that I really enjoy the time I spend creating each new post.
