confession
As your leader of the one square a day challenge, I have a confession to make. I have not been crocheting a square a day. Not even remotely close. Oh, I got off to a great start--then colds, acorn selling and other stuff got in the way. I know revealing this information will not help to bolster your faith in me as a challenge starter but, I stand firm that honesty is always the best policy. There. I feel much better now that that's public knowledge. But before you throw your hooks out the window and give up on doing this--don't!! I am still very much wanting to stick to this, so I hope you will keep at it with me.
Here's a couple of photos from our trip to the Barn. They have absolutely nothing to do with this post, just nice to look at.

And the truth shall set you free......

I am afraid to admit that I, too, have not been doing my daily granny square! I made a bunch the first few days and then life got in the way :) I'm not giving up, but I think that I might try to complete 1 or 2 a week.
Beautiful photos! The weather looks perfect. Here in eastern PA we have had some beautiful sunny days in the upper 60's. I just love the autumn!

I'm working in "anarchy" maybe...3 crocheted squares on last Thursay, nothing the following days... 5 paper-piecing patchwork squares yesterday evening(they're 4x4 but with 10 pieces each...) I think it's difficult for the "one-a-day-square" to work with my evereday life but...I try to correct myself after and become compulsive ! Not the better road maybe...but I keep the feeling !

Don't feel bad about the square a day thing as I'm not keeping up either. I have knitted 5 cotton washcloths for the domestic violence shelter using your plan but life has intervened as usual and made other plans for me. So, I'll do what I can when I can and not fret overly much.

I think I'm managing about half a square a day and sewing it together as I go along! I've only done about 12 squares but the kids already use the blanket on the sofa, loose ends n'all! Quite nice to cuddle under and sew at the same time!

Go, Go, Go!! Jump back in! I've done more than a row on good days, none at all on those busy days(aren't most of them?). No harm, no foul. At the rate I'm going with the rows, I will be finished with my parents afghan with time to spare for Christmas. Hmmm, just enough time to start a few other pressies maybe!
