comfort
Comfort frog....
Comfort fabric....(cotton velveteen *sigh*)
Comfort food...creamy organic tomato soup.
Tomato soup takes me back to my childhood, it was a lunchtime staple at my house. I'm also finding myself making cinnamon toast these days, another childhood food. My mom made it often--usually on Saturday mornings. I'm telling ya, there is nothing like a good crispy-on-the-edges-tender-in-the-center piece of cinnamon toast and a pot of tea---my current favorite: spicy orange rooibos.

I did a tiny interview with Figure Magazine in July that was supposed to be out in their November issue. I had never even heard of Figure until they contacted me and I can't find a copy of it here. I wanted to see my interview in print--being my first one of course! Have any of you seen this? I would love to get a hold of a copy and any help would be so appreciated.
Happy Friday!

Hi Toni
No I have never heard of the magazine either but I am going to keep my eye out for it.
Love the pictures. Oh I love comfort food and it is so great to see what other people's comfort food is. Mine would be Homemade bread/toast.
Have a great weekend.

tomato soup is comfort food for me too, too bad my DH hates it... and he truly hates it, it's not even one of those things he'll eat just to eat, he will NOT touch it... oh well...

Oh Oh how do you make the toast...I have not heard of it it sounds yummy. As a big winter soup maker it sounds just the thing to go with it.
PS LOve the acorn in the previous post, made me smile...I have not seen a single acorn this year...

I've been in the habit of making late-night cinnammon toast for the past few weeks. I keep a shaker with the perfect blend. I love the the acorn bag. . .the cutest.

We have tomato soup for lunch a lot too, and I ate it as a child many times. My boys love cinnamon toast in the morning and I have started to like it sometimes as well. Comfort food is nice!
