ginger cutie pie

ginger

It's perfect that this post should come after my last one, because this darling girl here is Ginger--Ruby's little sister. Emily popped over yesterday with her girls while they were out on a walk and Ginger's outfit just about killed me with a cute-attack! You see, she picks out her own clothes each day and Em says that she always needs a hat and a purse. Such a proper little lady she is. Check out that orange beaded bag!! gah, I want it! I HAD to snap a few photos and Ginger was very obliging. I think you'll agree this 3 year old is a fashion icon. My favorite details? How she's holding the bag and how her sweater sleeve is covering her hand.

(Emily made her sun hat!)

My son Micah did all the color editing on these. I wanted to see how his program works and I'm sold. My editing program is so ancient--I think I can almost here it sputter and spit when I open it up.  I would really love to pursue photography more but I get so discouraged on how expensive it can be. Even just to get a decent start. ho-hum, one day. It's always rolling around in my head. Just maybe he'll let me use his program for special pictures--maybe--and then I'll be one teeny step farther along ;)

yup...SO CUTE... She has YOU GO GIRL written all over her :o)

a toddler who's mom picks out her clothes...cute...a toddler who picks out her own clothes...including hat and bag...priceless :o)

The photographs [and model] are fantastic! I think you need to pursue the photography interest more...you're so gifted!

Could not be much cuter!

oh, my, she is just practically edible. SO SWEET. And your photos are beautiful. --- And Micah is a very talented fellow, as we already know! Congratulations on that, too!

Oh my, she's so adorable! And stylish, I just love how all the clothes work together :) There's one amazing girl!

The model is very sweet and you are a talented photoghrapher. I agree it can be expensive to start, but there are more and more free tools now. Have you heard of Gimp?

It is a free, open source bitmap editing program. I does not have all the bells and whistles that the big-name ones have, but still, it can do a lot. Check it out, maybe it'll be useful to you.

Oh, my goodness, what a doll! And awesome photography! You're multitalented! (I have just the skirt and shoes to go with that bag...)

Totally adorable! My Mum always let me pick out my own clothes - much to the chagrin of my much older brother and sister "You're not going to let her out of the house like that are you?" :)

Ironically, I prefered the color treatment of your previous photos... They were softer, where here they seem too bright to me, as if a blinding sun overexposed all your photos. Don't get me wrong, I know your son is very talented, I have seen some of his photos on Flicker which were amazing.
Just a proof that sometimes old softwares may just be good enough, maybe ? ;o)

oh my, shes as cute as a button! i love the hat & purse!

She's adorable. Love the outfit and purse. The purse looks like it's beaded crocheting?

Ohhh...a very stylish little girl indeed. :-)

Ginger is adorable, as is her outfit. My daughter always dressed herself at that age. Each day was a suprise! ;-)

I especially like photo number 2.

Oh I love little girls dressed like this! Sadly, my little girl is now 19 and only wears black :( !!!

Ginger looks adorable! Super cute!

"Cute-attack" is right! Ginger is adorable! You took such great photos of her. I love when kids pick out their own clothes :)

wow she really is a style icon!

adorable...oh my I have so much to learn in photography, I am only just getting into different settings on my camera, the thought of different lenses and colour suits....wow....Like I say I have a lot to learn...but with results like this I think it might be worth it...beautiful

It's her face and her smile that are so adorible. You take excellent photos. I really like your blog!

I love her style! She looks like she could be in an Anthropologie catalog.

Definitly a model in the making and a clever photographer too.
