playing...

underneath

with my camera, working on my next postcard collection. Playing with color pallets, hoping to start my next sewing project. I spend so much time thinking and dreaming up projects, I wish I leaned more on getting things done...ah, but the daydreaming part, it's so enjoyable, no?

My boys are over the flu--thank heavens. And so far the rest of us are A.O.K  This must have been the season for tummy bugs because this sort of thing just hit our house around Christmas--before that I can't even remember when we were sick like that. Twice in one winter is a first. Yuck is all I have to say.

I'm starting to feel the beginnings of spring fever (one illness I welcome) Then summer is just around the corner and that is my very favorite time of year. Just typing that gets my giddy. I can't wait to spruce up my wardrobe with some fun colors and I've just spied some spring green sandal clogs I think I must have! I can totally picture my feet clicking around in those.

yeah, I like the banner you've got up there now...oh, and those green clogs also!!

The photo with the flowers is great ! Soft colours, peaceful feeling... You really are a very talented photographer !
I wish I had some talent for photography... and a honorable camera, too, because mine will never take this kind of picture ! (mine is more "Boheme" and prefers blurry-foggy style, lol)

Oh yes, I feel that Spring sap begining to flow! And love the H. Anderson things, I sorta wish she would make her grown up girl clothes like her little girl clothes, with all those colors..(I guess I never grew up)!

Love the flowers. :) And love the color combos...I did that recently, and could not believe how many fabrics I really should be using up, lol!

Love the banner, love the clogs, love those fabric combinations you've got going, and yes, I definitely agree that the dreaming up the ideas is too fun. I think up ideas way faster than my schedule allows for!

I just love your photos. *sigh*

Hi Toni! The flower photo is beautiful! Lovely fabric combinations. Planning projects is half the fun, I think!

I love your flower photo! The lighting in the photo makes me think of a day that the clouds are looming overhead and at any moment......bam!!! it starts to rain. I LOVE that! Thunderstorms are the best!

I prefer daydreaming about making to actual making any day.

I love the gerbers. So pretty. All the fabrics are lovely as well. You've got a great idea for colour combos.

Gorgeous colors.

I have been obsessing about summer shoes too... I know it's just wishful thinking because it isn't even spring yet!

What lovely fabrics...it reminds me a bit about my childhood, the seventies. :-) Wars bedlinen and tablecloths with big colorful flowers on them.

I daydream a lot...like right now...when it's eleven a'clock at night and I ought to get some sleep. Instead...I'm lurking about to find inspiration (which I almost find on your blog). The list of "things to get done" is getting longer by the minute. But...I agree that the planning are so much more fun than the actual doing. :-)

I have been away and have just been catching up on reading my fav. blogs...it was so lovely to catch up with your goings on...so much lovely stuff (as ever) and the banner is great...in my humble opinion...although I can not even work out how to do one though!!!
Please the sickness is over...poor darlings!

I LOVE the floral on weathered wood pic for a postcard collection...very unique and fresh.

Down with the flu!! Glad you are all feeling better. One year while living in France I caught all three strains that they were warning people about, all in the month of December!!
I just wanted to leave a comment on here about your cute hat you made Manda new baby. How nice of you. I have been a reader of your blog for a while now and finally started my own blog.
I love reading about your beautiful family.

I love the flower photograph for a postcard. I'm actually working on making my own set to sell on etsy and am wondering if you print them yourself or have them professionally done? Any advice would be wonderful.
