simple adornment

Let me take just a moment to tell you about some beautiful jewelry I discovered recently. The designer is Lisa Leonard and I really love her simple style--ball chains, hammered silver, fresh water pearls. It all looks so perfect and natural together. She makes a variety of styles--solid circles, open circles, squares, tags, ovals, and hearts and other lovely extras. Lots of variety--and all can be customized to say what you want. I personally have an Open Circle on order right now with the names of all my children and I can't even wait to get it into my anxious little hands and around my neck!
The icing on the cake about this discovery is that Lisa is my neighbor! Can you believe it? She only lives a couple of blocks away. What a small world in deed. So that means when my necklace is ready we get to meet up at the local coffee shop for a visit. How fun for me!
You can find her jewelry here: Lisa Leonard Designs and get a more personal look at her life and her adorable little boys here: It's The Little Things
(that pink bird project is still not done, my crafting time has been next to nothing this week. next post? maybe. i'm afraid i'm giving this more build up then it deserves)

Oh, that jewelry is right up my alley - it's so beautiful and simple - thanks for the tip!!

It is beautiful jewelry and I think I have actualy come across it before. I love the necklace and now I am inspired to get one with the names of meaningful, much loved people on it as well.

beautiful & exactly the type of simple lines I like !
As a cheap option for the summer, I bought this fun one for me this week : they look like a French macaron on a ball chain !

The pieces are delicious and so simple (which is probably the same thing!) and what a lovely lady! I had tears and was drawn in to her 'David' story

I have just taken delivery of my tiny squares pendant and it is just gorgeous. You will love yours I know, wish I could come to morning tea with you guys. The closest I've been to St Luis Obisipo is when I was in labour almost 16 years ago I wore a T-shirt that was a gift from a neighbour who is from the US and she had been over for a visit and bought me a souvenier of St Luis Obisipo.
